From December 21, 2022, post.

Reinhardt Football ended its Fall 2022 season just a few weeks ago when the #9 Eagles narrowly lost to #8 Lindsey Wilson in the opening round game. The Eagles had one of the most exciting comebacks in Reinhardt Football history in a fourth-quarter scramble that produced 22 points in the final seven minutes of the game but came up short losing 23-22.

As the season ended for most, Coach James Miller and his staff started right back finishing up recruiting duties to bring in new talent to eventually replace what is going out. The Eagles were able to bring in nine new players in this early signing period and will most likely add more as time goes on. There will be another college football signing day on Wednesday, February 1st as well where the Eagles will be able to add to this talented group of young men.

Coach Miller had this to say about the signing period, his staff, and the new recruits, "My staff has worked incredibly hard since our season ended to sign the 9 guys. We have added guys that will be here in the spring semester as well as three high school football players that won't be here until next fall. It's all the hard work that they have put in to make this happen. I can't thank my staff enough. We feel like we have added a little size and team speed with this group during the early signing period. To go along with a kicker that can do all three - punt, kickoff, and field goals. There are still areas that we will need to address in the second signing period in February. I'd also like to welcome each recruit to the Reinhardt Football Family! Thank you for trusting us to be part of the 2023 Reinhardt recruiting class. Thank your families as well. Now it's time to go and Pay The Price (PTP)."
